msrp* builds exhibition-driven projects around contemporary abstraction.
myta sayo research projects* is a curatorial platform founded by Myta Sayo, operating at the intersection of studio practice, exhibitions, and the market. The platform evolved from Myta Sayo Gallery, a former brick-and-mortar space in Toronto that presented Canadian and American artists, and now operates through art fairs and seasonal exhibitions.
Sayo’s background in political theory informs an approach that treats exhibitions as forms of inquiry. Working with a core roster of artists, msrp* places works defined by material rigor and conceptual clarity, with an eye toward how they live, travel, and hold value.
msrp* operates as a curatorial framework as much as a commercial one, shaping the conditions through which work is encountered, circuated and collected.
